I recently found out that my AWS hosting account was suspended, and it seems to be due to not changing the root user password. I've been trying to sort this out through the AWS console, but unfortunately, I haven't received any help via their chat or callbacks. Plus, my billing statement is showing a zero balance. We really need to get our account reactivated ASAP so we can access our site and continue working on our project. Does anyone have any advice?

Have you tried reaching out to your Technical Account Manager (TAM) if you have one? If not, you might want to consider that option. Also, it's a good lesson to always keep an eye on your notifications and address any issues promptly. And for future reference, setting up a disaster recovery plan or having backups in another AWS account could save you a lot of headaches, especially for production workloads.
Yeah, if you're in a pinch, a solid backup strategy is crucial. Don't let it happen again!
