Hey everyone! I've been running into a strange issue lately. Every time I try to access articles on the National Crime Agency website through Facebook, my IP address gets temporarily blocked. I'm not sure why this is happening. Has anyone experienced something similar or can shed some light on what's going on?

Did you happen to try accessing that URL outside of Facebook? Also, are you connected to a school or company Wi-Fi? Sometimes those networks have restrictions that can cause issues.

It sounds like another customer from your ISP might be causing this by spamming the site. You could also try accessing the website from a library PC or a different network to see if it works there. That might give you some insight into whether it's your connection that's the problem.

What specific URL are you trying to reach when you get the block? Also, what kind of error message do you see? Providing that could help figure out the issue quicker. If it’s a persistent problem, it might be linked to how your IP is being flagged.

If you have a dynamic IP address, resetting your router could help you get a different one. This can also be a sign of an ISP that scrapes or shares IP addresses poorly, which can lead to blocks like that.
