I have an iPhone 16 that's just gone black on me for no apparent reason. It was sitting on my desk for a few minutes, not in the sun or near any magnets, and when I picked it up, the screen was just black. I can still feel notifications and haptic feedback, but the display is completely dark. I've tried force restarting it several times with no luck. The phone's in great condition—I've never dropped it! I'm really confused about what might have caused this and I'm unsure where to take it for repairs. Also, how much could this possibly cost?

Your iPhone 16 should still be under warranty since it was only released last September. Even if you got it right at launch, it's less than a year old, so you should definitely check with Apple.
I think the warranty might depend on whether you declined any additional coverage. If you didn't, just head to your local Apple Store—they should be able to help you out!
