I'm looking for a solution for a situation at my company. We have a provider who needs admin access to our PCs in case of emergencies. They require a specific username and password setup and are not interested in alternatives like using an email or the PCNAMEusername format for sign-in. Is there any workaround for enabling sign-ins using the User Principal Name (UPN) format? They need access to both the Windows machine and the User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Any help would be appreciated!

You might want to tell them that's a pretty outdated policy, especially with current security practices. Every machine should have its own unique local admin password, managed with something like LAPS. It's much safer than sharing passwords around.
