Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my RAM from 16GB (2x8GB) at 3600MHz to 32GB (2x16GB) at the same speed. Initially, I installed the new RAM incorrectly, which caused a blue screen of death (BSOD). I quickly figured out the issue and reseated the RAM properly. Now the computer boots up and runs normally, but I'm experiencing random lag and BSODs while gaming. Sometimes I get a crash after 30-40 minutes, which says it's a driver issue. This never happened with my old RAM. Also, my computer crashes when watching YouTube or Twitch. Could there be a problem with the new RAM?

Try testing each RAM stick individually in different slots to identify if one stick is bad or if there's a damaged slot. It's rare for two sticks to fail at the same time. Also, make sure you have XMP enabled in BIOS, and it might help to clear the CMOS before adding the new RAM.
I didn't clear the CMOS. I'm pretty new to building PCs, could you walk me through that process? I just swapped the RAM.
