A few months ago, I set up recurring reminders for my dad's physical therapy appointments on his calendar. Now that he's finished with therapy, he wants to stop the reminders. The problem is, I can't find those events in his calendar to delete them—it's completely blank. Despite this, the reminders keep popping up. I'm wondering if it could be due to his iPhone 8 not being updated. Is that the issue? Also, would updating an older model like that potentially cause problems with the phone? I'd really appreciate any help!

Have you tried searching for the events by name in the calendar? Sometimes it helps to locate the events directly that way.
It sounds like those reminders might be in the Reminders App instead of the Calendar. Make sure to check there because that’s a common mix-up.
Nope, I checked that first since I couldn't find it in the calendar!
When the next reminder pops up, instead of dismissing it, try clicking on it. It should take you to the event's detail page where you can manage or delete it.
Great tip! I'll try that. He usually dismisses notifications quickly, so I hope he won't this time!
I tried searching, but no luck there either.
