Hey everyone, I'm an amateur writer trying to craft a believable secret lair for my villain. I'm curious if there's any military technology that can effectively conceal a location from aircraft or satellites. I understand that stealth technology deflects radar signals, but could that be applied to entire installations or bases? Could you suggest some specific examples or techniques I could look into? I'm aiming for my villain's hideout in the mountains to remain undetected for decades, so any insight would be appreciated!

One practical approach is to consider camouflage, which has been used in warfare for centuries. Simply disguising any structures to blend in with the natural environment can help. Think about covering up any metal doors with tree limbs or painting them to match the surroundings. If your villain's base is mostly underground, that’s a great start because it minimizes detection, especially if you keep vegetation on top.

That's a solid point! I already have most of the base underground, with just a few structures that are well-camouflaged. It should work just fine! Thanks!
