Why do my devices keep disconnecting from my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi?

I'm experiencing this annoying issue where some devices connected to my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi just randomly disconnect. It's really frustrating since it happens out of nowhere. My router is a TP-Link Archer AX1500, and I have the 2.4GHz band set to auto for both the channel and width. The internet seems to be working fine during these disconnects, and the devices are really close to the router. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Any tips would be appreciated!

I totally get the frustration! Before buying new hardware, have you checked for firmware updates for your router? Sometimes a simple update can solve connectivity issues. Also, consider repositioning your router; sometimes even a little shift can improve signal stability!

You might want to try changing the Wi-Fi channel manually instead of leaving it on auto. Sometimes, the auto setting can choose a crowded channel. Also, if you’re really looking for a solution, upgrading to a system like an Eero can make a huge difference, though I understand that's a bigger investment. But for now, check your channel settings first!
