I recently built a new PC and want to upgrade from my old, slow HDD to a new SSD since my HDD takes forever to boot into Windows 10. I tried using Macrium Reflect to clone my HDD, but I keep running into error 9, so that option is out. I also don't have a flash drive to use for Clonezilla. Is there a way to clone my old boot drive to the SSD without spending money? Just to clarify, I can't do a fresh install of Windows either because I can't access a flash drive at the moment. My old drive is a Seagate and the new SSD is a Samsung.

What version of Macrium Reflect are you using right now? Sometimes older versions can behave unexpectedly with newer hardware.
About that error 9 from Macrium Reflect: it might suggest there are bad sectors on your HDD. That’s not great and could lead to more issues if you keep using it. Unfortunately, there aren't many reliable methods to clone a drive with potential bad sectors without another bootable device. If you can, try to borrow a flash drive temporarily; it could save you a lot of trouble. Or, just try to clear up space on one you already have, if that's possible.
What SSD did you get? Knowing the brand can help if there are specific tools or methods for cloning.
I got a Samsung 990 PRO 1TB!
I’m using the latest version.
