I've been using my PC for about 6 years now, and I'm running into some performance issues. My current specs are an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, an AMD Radeon RX 5700, an ASRock B450M/ac motherboard, and 16GB of 3600MHz RAM. When I try to run multiple heavy applications at once—like playing World of Warcraft with RuneScape in the background—it can get pretty jumpy or slow. Even on high graphics settings, gameplay can be jittery.
I'm looking to upgrade with a budget of under $1,000. Any suggestions for what I should focus on to improve my performance? Thanks in advance!

If you're up for specific parts, I suggest getting the Ryzen 7 5700X3D for about $250, and for the GPU, an RTX 5070 in the $550-$600 range. Adding another 16GB of RAM will help too—it's usually around $45. Don’t forget a new 750W 80+ Gold PSU for about $100 to ensure you have enough power for your upgrades.
It really depends on what's bottlenecking your performance the most. You could either upgrade your CPU, motherboard, and RAM together for a well-rounded boost, or just go for a new graphics card to see a big improvement right away. Also, have you thought about reinstalling Windows? Sometimes that can really clean things up after a few years.
Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely look into reinstalling Windows.
Appreciate the detailed recommendations! Is the new PSU just to make sure everything runs smoothly with the upgrades?
