What’s up with the red circle around my GPU’s HDMI2 port?

I've been using a GTX 1080 Ti for a while, and I just noticed that the HDMI2 port at the back of the card has a red circle around it, while HDMI1 does not. Can someone explain what this means?

The red circle indicates that HDMI2 and the DVI port can't be used simultaneously. If you're planning on connecting multiple monitors, make sure to use either HDMI2 or DVI, but not both.

You're talking about the port that looks like it has an orange outline, right? That's just a cover. If the link to the image you shared isn’t working, just know that it might be a non-functional port cover. It shouldn't affect your usage.

The image link didn't load for me either, but it's good to clarify. I was confused about it at first too!
