Hey everyone! I've run into a weird issue where my room's circuit breaker trips every time I try to load up a game on my PC. I have a 750 watt power supply and a 20 amp breaker dedicated to my room. I've lived here for two years without any problems, and just a few hours ago everything was working fine. Now, it trips out of nowhere. My PC is fairly powerful and has a setup that includes dual 27-inch monitors, an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT with 12GB of memory, an Intel Core i5-13600K processor, and some other components. As a quick update, I plugged my PC into the living room circuit and it ran fine there. Could anyone help me figure out what might be going wrong?

Breakers can wear out over time. If you still trip the breaker on another circuit, it might be a sign that something in your PC is causing the issue. I had a similar issue before!
First off, check what else is on your circuit. If there are other devices, they might be overloading your breaker, especially if they all draw power at the same time. Just a thought!
If your breaker is an AFCI type, the issue could be the safety capacitor in your power supply failing. These capacitors can cause the breaker to trip even when everything seems okay. You might want to consider replacing your PSU if that's the case!
Your breaker might just be getting old. They're not indestructible! If you can, try moving your setup to a different circuit to see if that helps.
I don’t have an extension cord, so I'd need to physically move my PC. But I did try it out in the living room and it worked perfectly!
Just confirming, are you plugged directly into the wall or using a surge protector? Sometimes that can influence tripping issues.
I’m using a surge protector.

It's mainly just some LED lights, a ceiling fan, laptop, and a couple of phone chargers. Nothing too heavy.
