Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a PC that can run Fortnite at over 240 fps at 1080p with competitive settings. My maximum budget is $1000, but ideally, I'd like to keep it between $700 and $800. I'm not very knowledgeable about PCs, so I'm curious if this is even achievable. Appreciate any advice you can give!

Check out this build I put together:

- **CPU**: Intel Core i5-14400F - $129.96
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin - $34.90
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B760 GAMING X - $159.99
- **Memory**: TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert 32 GB DDR5 - $91.99
- **Storage**: Silicon Power UD90 2 TB NVMe SSD - $95.97
- **GPU**: ASRock Steel Legend OC Radeon RX 9060 XT - $389.99
- **Case**: Aerocool Prism V2 - $59.99
- **PSU**: SAMA GT 750 W 80+ Gold - $74.99

Total is around $1037.78, but it should give you awesome performance for Fortnite!

I think I'll just go with this build. Appreciate your help!

Dude, that build is sick! He managed to pack more storage and GPU VRAM into it, but honestly, I’d be cautious with that PSU brand personally.

Thanks for the suggestion! Is there a way to reduce costs to fit my $700-$800 range? I’m all about performance over looks.

Absolutely, it's definitely possible to build a great Fortnite PC within your budget! Just to clarify, does the $1000 include the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and headphones?

Nope! I already have all my peripherals.
