Help! MS Access Buttons Gone Blank After Update

Has anyone else experienced issues with MS Access forms after the recent Office update? We have a database with forms that include buttons featuring bitmap images and text. Unfortunately, after the update, these buttons are appearing blank. If we edit the buttons and remove the bitmap image, the text shows up again, but we have a lot of buttons to edit, and we really want to keep the images since our users are familiar with them. We've confirmed that the problem is linked to the update because when we run the same Access application on a PC with an older version of Office, the buttons display correctly. However, on any PC with the updated version of Office, the buttons show as broken. This issue seems to affect different users as well. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Honestly, I feel your pain! It's such a hassle to edit all those buttons. You might also check if there's a patch from Microsoft yet. They sometimes release quick fixes for these types of issues after an update. Hang in there!

It sounds like you're in a tough spot! You might want to try rolling back the Office update if that's possible for you. Microsoft occasionally breaks Access with updates, and it can take a while before they release a fix. Just make sure your other software doesn’t get impacted by that rollback. Good luck!

Rolling back the update could work, but I understand why you'd hesitate. It's usually best to keep everything updated to avoid security issues.
