Trouble with CPU and DRAM Error Lights on New PC Build

Hey everyone! I just finished assembling my first PC, and I'm running into an issue. When I power it on, both the CPU and DRAM lights are on. I've reseated the CPU, but that didn't help. I also noticed one of my RAM sticks wasn't fully seated, which I fixed, but the lights are still lit up. Everything else seems fine—fans and GPU are functioning well. I'm really excited about this build, so it's frustrating to have these lights indicate a problem. Here are my specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 9600x with Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120
- Motherboard: Asrock B850M Pro A Wifi
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 MHz, 32GB
- GPU: Asrock RX 9070 XT Steel Legend
- PSU: Seasonic G12 GM750 750W
- Storage: WD Black SN7100 2TB

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! It sounds like your memory might still be training, which can take a little while. Just give it a few minutes after powering it on. If that doesn’t help and the lights stay on, you might want to check the motherboard's QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for compatible RAM. Sometimes certain RAM sticks can be a bit picky with specific motherboards.

That's a good point! But shouldn't those lights go away once the training is complete? It feels odd to see error lights during that process.
