Everything seems generally compatible, but the processor could limit the graphics card slightly in some games, especially at lower resolutions or with high refresh-rate gaming. It probably won’t be a major issue for a first build, but upgrading the CPU later could improve performance in CPU-heavy titles.
The build looks reasonable for a budget system, though the graphics card will be the biggest factor in how well it performs. Make sure you have a plan for the operating system, but you don’t necessarily need to buy an expensive license immediately—you can create an installation USB with Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool and activate Windows later if you choose. You may also want one additional 120 mm exhaust fan for the rear of the case if your current airflow setup only includes three fans.

Your location could make a big difference in the budget. Since you’re considering a Ryzen 5 5600, motherboard, and memory separately, check whether a nearby Micro Center has a bundle with a Ryzen 5 5600X3D, compatible motherboard, and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. If the bundle is still available for around $300, it could provide better gaming performance while costing less than buying those parts individually.
I live near a Micro Center, so I’ll definitely check that bundle before buying the individual CPU, motherboard, and RAM.
