I'm building my first PC with a hard budget of about $1,000, and I could stretch slightly over that but definitely not past $1,100. I currently have a Ryzen 5 7600, an ASRock B650M Pro WiFi motherboard, and 16GB of DDR5 in a bundle costing around $615. I also have a 1TB NVMe SSD, a Corsair RM750e 750W ATX 3.1 power supply, and a Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE cooler going into an AeroCool P300C case. The SSD is not included in my budget. My current total is about $784, so I need help choosing a GPU and deciding whether any other parts should be changed to get the best gaming performance for the money.

I’d consider waiting rather than forcing the build with a weak graphics card. The Ryzen 5 7600 platform is a solid foundation, but spending over half the budget on the CPU, board, and memory leaves too little for the part that matters most for gaming. Keep watching prices, and only finalize once you can fit a balanced GPU without going beyond your limit.
With only roughly $200 left, there probably isn’t a new GPU that matches the rest of the system without exceeding the budget. One option is to buy an inexpensive used card as a temporary solution, then replace it later and sell the temporary card. If you’re willing to change platforms, moving to DDR4 with an AM4 or LGA1700 build could free up more money for the GPU, although that gives you less upgrade room.
Deals are still possible, but you’ll need to be patient and check listings regularly. A budget around $1,050 can sometimes fit a Ryzen 7 5700X3D and an RX 9060 XT 16GB if you find good sale or used-market prices. I wouldn’t rush into an overpriced bundle just to finish the build immediately.

I’m willing to edit the parts and wait if needed. I’d rather end up with a balanced system than buy a temporary card unless the savings are significant.
