You could potentially save money with a Core i5-14600, 32GB of DDR4 memory, a Radeon RX 9070 XT, and a less expensive OLED monitor while keeping similar gaming performance. That could leave more room in the budget for other upgrades or better aesthetics.
Isn’t LGA1700 effectively at the end of its upgrade path? I was considering AM5 because it should receive new processors for several more years. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D also seems stronger for gaming because of its 3D V-Cache and 96MB of L3 cache, compared with the 14600’s 24MB.
