I have a Python script and would like to turn it into an installable Android APK, preferably from Windows or another desktop operating system. Is there a tool similar to PyInstaller that can package Python code for Android?

Kivy is a popular option if your project needs a graphical interface. It works with Python and can be packaged for Android using Buildozer or Python-for-Android. BeeWare is another framework worth considering, especially if you want to build more platform-native applications.
PyInstaller is intended for desktop executables, so it does not create Android APKs. For Android packaging, look into Buildozer, Python-for-Android, or Briefcase. These tools can bundle Python code and its dependencies into an APK, though you may need an Android build environment or a Linux-based setup.
