Whenever I play a game such as Minecraft or another Steam game while watching a video or playing an MP3, I hear frequent popping and glitching in the audio. It sometimes happens even when I am only switching to different music. The problem occurs with both headphones and speakers, so the headphones themselves do not seem to be the cause. I am using Windows 11. What should I check to fix this?

This could be caused by manufacturer utilities running in the background, especially on gaming laptops. Open the Run dialog with Windows + R, enter `services.msc`, and look through the services for ones associated with your computer manufacturer. Dell-related services, for example, have been known to interfere with audio on some systems. Disable only one suspected service at a time and test afterward so you can identify the cause.
I checked the Services list but could not find any services with the manufacturer name in them.
