Hi everyone! So I've made a ChatGPT link that I want to share on social media, but I'm struggling to figure out how to connect it with Google Analytics to track how many clicks it gets. I've seen several YouTube tutorials that recommend using Google Tag, Google Analytics, and UTM tags, but none of them have worked for me. I have a feeling that OpenAI might have some restrictions on traffic tracking. What I really need is a way to analyze the number of link clicks from my ChatGPT link without having to embed it on a webpage. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out URL shorteners like Bitly. They can track clicks for you really easily—just shorten your ChatGPT link with it and share that link instead! That way, you'll be able to see how many people are clicking on it without much hassle.
I've heard similar suggestions, but just a heads up, some link shorteners like Bitly require a subscription for full tracking features. If you're looking for a free alternative, there are a few out there, but their tracking might not be as robust. Just keep that in mind!
Thanks for the tip! I want to avoid subscriptions, so I'll search for some free options that still offer tracking.
