I connected a basic rabbit-ears antenna to the coaxial input on my new Samsung Smart TV, but I can't find a way to watch local broadcast stations such as NBC, CBS, or ABC. The Samsung TV Plus app only shows streaming channels, and I don't see an antenna option or a way to switch to the coax input. I'm also unable to switch to my DVD player, which is connected through RCA cables, although my Apple TV works normally. Could this be a settings issue, an incompatible model, or a hardware problem?

Make sure you’re changing settings from the TV’s main menu, not from inside the Samsung TV Plus app. Open Home, then Menu or Settings, and look for All Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Program or Auto Tuning. Select Antenna/Air and run the channel scan. After that, the antenna channels should be available through the Live TV or TV source.
For the DVD player, use the TV’s Source or Connected Devices menu rather than TV Plus. Newer Samsung sets often require a Samsung AV adapter for the red, white, and yellow RCA plugs, and the AV source may not appear until the adapter is connected correctly. If the TV has no AV input at all, an HDMI converter may be necessary.
If the Broadcasting menu is completely missing, check the exact TV model number. Some Samsung-branded smart displays and certain regional models don’t include a built-in over-the-air tuner, even though they have streaming features. In that case, the coax antenna cannot be used directly and you’d need an external tuner or converter box.
I checked the settings I could find, but they only show captions, parental controls, history, and information about TV Plus. I don’t see All Settings or Broadcasting.
