How should I handle SELinux permissions for a Valheim server?

I'm setting up a Valheim server and started it with `sudo systemctl start valheim`. SELinux first blocked access, so I followed the suggested `ausearch` and `audit2allow` steps. After applying those rules, it reported additional denials involving transition access and map permissions. Have I configured something incorrectly? Should SELinux have been set up differently beforehand, and is there a safer or more streamlined way to grant the server all the permissions it needs instead of creating a new rule for every denial?

One alternative is to run the Valheim server in a container, where the server setup and its required permissions are already more self-contained. That may be easier than repeatedly generating SELinux allow rules, although containers still need to be understood and configured correctly—especially for persistent world files, networking, and backups.

I looked at containers but didn’t really understand them, so I followed a traditional installation guide instead. The container setup does look more comprehensive, so I may need to learn that approach.
