I'm considering an AM4 system with a Ryzen 7 5700X, a 16GB graphics card, and 16GB of DDR4 memory. Would this be a solid setup for games such as Warzone, Black Myth: Wukong, and Path of Exile 2? I'm also wondering whether upgrading to 32GB of RAM is worthwhile and if using the graphics card in a PCIe 3.0 motherboard would cause a major problem.

That should be a solid gaming setup for most titles. The exact experience depends on your resolution, graphics settings, and FPS target, but the Ryzen 7 5700X is still a capable gaming CPU and pairs reasonably well with a mainstream graphics card.
Look up benchmarks for the specific graphics card in each game at your intended resolution. For 1080p or 1440p, this combination should be quite usable, but Black Myth: Wukong is demanding and may benefit from upscaling or adjusted settings. The 16GB of graphics memory is helpful, while 32GB of system RAM would make the overall build more comfortable.
PCIe 3.0 generally isn’t a major issue as long as the card is running at x16. The GPU will be compatible, and the performance difference from PCIe 4.0 is usually small in normal gaming. Check the card’s lane configuration, though, because a card limited to fewer lanes can be affected more on PCIe 3.0.
So upgrading the motherboard isn’t necessary just because it only supports PCIe 3.0?
Right—there’s usually no reason to replace the motherboard for that alone. Upgrade only if you need newer features or are planning a larger platform change.
