I'm planning my first PC build and don't have much hardware experience, so I'd appreciate advice on compatibility, value, and anything I should change. I'm in Israel, and the build originally came to about $3,000 after conversion. The parts are a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 240 A-RGB, ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI motherboard, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 CL30, a Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB SSD, MSI MAG A850GL PCIe 5 850W Gold power supply, and an ASUS ProArt PA401 Wood Edition case. I originally chose an RTX 5070, but I'm now considering a Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse 16GB instead, bringing the total to roughly $2,900. Does this look like a sensible and compatible build?

The RX 9070 XT is the better value choice if it costs the same or less than the RTX 5070 in your area. It generally offers stronger gaming performance and also gives you 16GB of VRAM instead of 12GB. The 7800X3D, DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, and 850W Gold power supply are all sensible choices for a gaming system.
The build should work, but the liquid cooler is probably unnecessary for a 7800X3D. A good air cooler such as a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE would usually be enough and could save money while being simpler and easier to maintain. Put that extra budget toward the GPU or a larger SSD if needed.
The main concern is value rather than compatibility. A 1TB SSD can fill up quickly with modern games, and the 990 EVO Plus may be more expensive than necessary. Consider a cheaper 1TB NVMe drive or, ideally, a 2TB model if the local price difference is reasonable. Also check that the motherboard BIOS supports the 7800X3D and that the case has enough room for the graphics card and radiator before ordering.
The 9070 XT is actually cheaper here, so I’m going to compare the exact models and go with it if there aren’t any compatibility issues.
