I'm putting together my second PC and would appreciate some feedback before ordering the parts. I'm still fairly new to PC building, so I'd especially like advice about component balance, the power supply, cooling, storage, and anything else worth changing. I'm also interested in trying a mild overclock this time, although nothing extreme.

If you like the same general case style, another compatible case option is worth considering. It includes RGB fans and may provide one additional fan, which could improve airflow while keeping the appearance you want.
The build looks well balanced overall. The main thing I’d question is the 1200W power supply. If you aren’t overclocking heavily, 1000W should be plenty, but keeping 1200W is reasonable if you want extra headroom for tuning or a future high-end graphics card.
You could improve the value without giving up much performance. A larger SSD with slightly lower advertised speeds would probably feel just as fast in normal use, while giving you twice the capacity and saving money. I’d also look at a higher-tier power supply with modern 12V-2x6 protection; the 1000W version may be enough unless you want maximum upgrade headroom. The motherboard change is optional, but a premium B850 model can make more sense than a midrange X870 if the features you need are otherwise similar.
I’m planning to experiment with a mild overclock. My current system has everything running at stock settings, so I’d like to learn and try it this time.
