I'm planning to build my first gaming PC, possibly within the next year, and my current parts list costs about €1,365 on Amazon. My total budget is around €1,430, not including peripherals because I already have a keyboard, mouse, and mousepad.
The planned build is:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- CPU cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX
- Memory: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Corsair Vengeance RGB
- Storage: Silicon Power UD90 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
- Graphics card: ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
- Case: Phanteks XT PRO
- Power supply: MSI MAG A750GL PCIe 5 750W 80+ Gold
Would this be a good system for gaming and streaming games such as Minecraft, GTA V, and Cyberpunk 2077 for the next two or three years? I'm considering upgrading to 32GB of RAM later because 16GB may become limiting in newer games, but 32GB is currently too expensive for me. I'd also like recommendations for a 24-inch monitor that fits this system and budget. Would a monitor such as the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL5A be a good choice, even though it is 27 inches?

The build is generally well balanced, and the Ryzen 5 7500F gives you a good upgrade path on the AM5 platform. The RX 9060 XT 16GB should handle most games well for the next couple of years, especially if you adjust settings or use FSR in demanding titles. Ray tracing-heavy games will be more difficult, though.
If you can stretch the budget, a Radeon RX 9070-class card may offer considerably better performance and resale value for roughly 10% more total system cost, depending on prices in your country. Check several retailers rather than looking only at one store. If the stronger GPU would mean sacrificing the monitor or other important parts, keeping the 9060 XT is still a reasonable choice.
I would prioritize 32GB of memory if possible, since 16GB can already cause limitations when gaming, streaming, and running other programs at the same time. If the price difference is too high right now, you can start with 16GB, but use a matched 2x8GB kit and plan to replace it with 2x16GB later rather than mixing unrelated kits.
For the monitor, a 27-inch 1440p IPS display around 165–180Hz is a strong match for this graphics card and is often available for under €150 during sales. The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL5A should be a suitable option if its price is reasonable, although it is 27 inches rather than 24. A 24-inch 1080p high-refresh monitor will also work, but it will look less sharp and may not make full use of the GPU in many games.

If I can’t afford the RX 9070 and need to buy everything this year, would the current build still be suitable for two or three years? I may be able to upgrade the CPU and graphics card later once I have a job.
