Is This Ryzen 5 7500F and Radeon 9060 XT Gaming Build Balanced?

I'm planning a gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 7500F, Radeon 9060 XT 16GB, ASUS Prime B650M motherboard, and 16GB of Patriot Viper Venom DDR5-5200 CL36 memory with EXPO. The memory is currently a single 16GB stick. I can't spend any more, and AMD is much better priced in my country: the Ryzen 5 7500F is substantially cheaper than both the Ryzen 5 7600X and Core i5-14400F, while the Radeon card costs far less than a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Is this a good gaming-focused build for the money?

The component choices look fine overall, but make sure the motherboard BIOS supports the Ryzen 5 7500F and that the case airflow and power supply are adequate. Also enable EXPO after installation, and consider upgrading to dual-channel memory as soon as your budget allows.

The build is reasonable if those are genuinely the best prices available. Some people may suggest a different CPU and GPU combination, such as a Ryzen 7 5700X with a faster graphics card, but that only matters if those parts are actually available and similarly priced in your country. Since the 9070 GRE isn’t available to you, the 7500F and 9060 XT are a practical choice.

The 9070 GRE isn’t sold in my country, so that alternative unfortunately isn’t an option.

The CPU and GPU combination looks sensible for gaming, especially given the local price differences. The main weakness is the 1×16GB memory configuration. A single stick runs in single-channel mode, which can noticeably reduce performance and cause worse frame-time consistency. If possible, adding a matching 16GB stick later—or using a 2×8GB kit now—would be the first upgrade to prioritize.

That makes sense. I can’t spend more right now, but I’ll plan to add another matching stick when I can.
