I'm putting together my first custom gaming PC to replace a PlayStation 5 and want feedback before ordering. My goal is smooth native 1440p gaming at high or ultra settings in modern AA and AAA titles, with the system remaining capable for roughly four to five years without frequent upgrades.
The planned parts are:

The estimated total is about €1,660.59. Is this configuration balanced for high-end 1440p gaming over the next few years? Will the Ryzen 7 5700X noticeably limit the RX 9070 at 1440p, and are there any parts I should change before placing the order? I'm based in Spain.

The 5700X is still a capable gaming processor, especially at 1440p where the graphics card usually matters more. However, it’s an older AM4 chip and may not be the best choice if you truly want four or five years of high-end gaming performance. A 5800X3D would be the ideal AM4 upgrade, although discontinued models can be extremely expensive. If the price is reasonable, a 5800XT or another newer platform could be worth comparing.
At native 1440p, the RX 9070 should be doing most of the work, so the 5700X probably won’t create a major bottleneck in typical single-player games. You may see a larger CPU limitation in esports titles, very high-refresh gaming, or especially CPU-heavy games, but for high and ultra settings the pairing is generally sensible.
If the price difference is manageable, check whether an RX 9070 XT is available. It could provide more headroom for demanding games and help the system remain comfortable at 1440p for longer. If the XT would force compromises elsewhere, the regular RX 9070 is still a strong choice.
I’m buying the parts in Spain, so the prices are in euros. The 5800X3D is unfortunately very expensive here because it has been discontinued.
