Newer games are heavily CPU-limited for me, and I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D while keeping the rest of the platform. I plan to keep this build for at least another three years and intend to skip AM5 unless platform prices drop significantly. Would the 5800X3D be worth the cost, or would a less expensive 5500X3D be a better long-term choice?
