I'm currently using an RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition with a Ryzen 7 5800X and 32GB of DDR4 memory. I mainly play single-player games but also want solid frame rates in multiplayer titles. At 1440p, I'm starting to struggle with demanding games such as Spider-Man, Cyberpunk 2077, and Crimson Desert on high or ultra settings. Would an RX 9060 XT be a worthwhile upgrade, or should I save longer for a more powerful graphics card that would provide a more noticeable improvement?

The RX 9060 XT would be faster, but not enough to make it a particularly compelling upgrade from an RTX 3060 Ti unless you can sell your current card and keep the extra cost fairly low. The 16GB model is roughly a moderate step up, and the benefit may be smaller with a Ryzen 7 5800X. I’d keep the 3060 Ti a little longer and save for something in the RX 9070 class instead.
A 9070 or 9070 XT should provide the kind of performance jump you’ll actually feel at 1440p in games like Cyberpunk and Spider-Man. Just check your power supply before buying: higher-end cards use considerably more power than the 3060 Ti. Your 5800X should still be usable, especially at 1440p, so a full platform upgrade probably isn’t necessary yet.
For 1440p, the main issue may be the 3060 Ti’s 8GB of VRAM in newer story-focused games. Dropping a few settings, especially textures, ray tracing, and shadows, could help for now. If you want a clearly noticeable upgrade, I’d look at an RX 9070, RX 9070 XT, or a similar-tier card rather than replacing the 3060 Ti with an RX 9060 XT.
That makes sense. The 9060 XT seems more like a good replacement for an older or weaker card than a major upgrade from a 3060 Ti.
Also keep an eye on ray-tracing performance and upscaling options. A stronger GPU will help much more than a small step up if you want high settings and consistent frame rates in newer games.
