I've been facing a significant issue with security updates on HP laptops running Windows 11 24H2, especially when managed through Intune. During the reboot process, the systems hang for a long time—sometimes even a few hours—before resuming, but the update fails to install. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including running system repair commands like SFC and DISM, deploying updates individually, and even packaging updates as apps, but nothing has worked. Has anyone else dealt with this on HP devices with 24H2? Any insights or solutions would be really helpful. I've noticed the update logs indicate failures, particularly errors like 0x800f0805, which means Windows can't process the update and it rolls back during reboot.

Don't forget to remove any HP Wolf security software if you're using it. It might be conflicting with the update process.
Have you checked if your EDR or antivirus is causing issues? Sometimes they can interfere with updates, especially on HP laptops.
Make sure to look at the update logs for error details. They can pinpoint what's failing during the installation.
HP laptops often come with their own bloatware. Check if your system partition has a lot of extra packages that could be filling it up. You might find a 100MB partition loaded with unnecessary HP software.
I took a look and found some space issues. Thanks for the tip!
