Lenovo Gaming PC Turns On but the Screen Stays Black

My Lenovo gaming computer powers on and appears to be fully charged, but the display is completely black. I'm not sure of the exact model and I'm not very tech-savvy. I tried increasing the brightness, restarting the computer, and pressing Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B, but nothing changed. When I shine a flashlight at the screen, I can faintly see the desktop, so the picture is there but the screen is extremely dim. Should I have it repaired, or is it time to replace the computer?

If you can see the desktop faintly with a flashlight, the computer and graphics output are probably working. That usually points to a failed screen backlight, backlight cable, or display power circuit rather than a Windows setting. Try connecting it to an external monitor or TV; if that works normally, back up your files and have the laptop’s display repaired. You probably don’t need to replace the whole computer unless the repair quote is unusually high.
