My Lenovo laptop suddenly started showing a Boot Menu with only one option: "Windows Boot Manager." When I select it and press Enter, the same menu immediately appears again instead of starting Windows. What could be causing this, and how can I check whether the correct drive is selected in the BIOS or UEFI settings?

Enter the BIOS/UEFI setup and check the boot order. Look for an option such as Windows Boot Manager or the internal SSD, and move it to the top of the list. On many Lenovo laptops, you can enter setup by pressing F2, Fn+F2, or the Novo button while powering on. If the drive is missing entirely, the laptop may not be detecting the storage device.
Seeing “Windows Boot Manager” is normal when the system is using UEFI and the Windows EFI boot partition is detected. However, that only confirms the boot entry exists—it doesn’t guarantee that Windows can actually start. If selecting it loops back to the same menu, check the boot order first, then investigate the SSD, Windows boot files, or the installation itself if the problem continues.
