I'm gradually switching from Windows to Kubuntu and am trying to find a launcher that feels like Flow Launcher. The main feature I'm missing is web searching with Google-style autocomplete suggestions as I type. I've tried KRunner, Alfred, Ulauncher, and V sichinae, but none seem to provide the suggestions I want. Does anyone know of a Linux launcher that supports this, or a plugin that can add it?

Plasma’s built-in search can handle web searches, so it’s worth checking whether the web search plugin is enabled in the settings. If the specific requirement is live autocomplete while typing, though, KRunner may not support that behavior out of the box.
KRunner has a web search plugin that you can enable. You can also use a syntax like `:keyword` to trigger a particular web search provider. However, it may still require entering the full query rather than offering Google-style autocomplete suggestions.
Ulauncher is another option because it has a lot of customization and extension support. That said, some users have run into compatibility problems with Wayland, so its reliability may depend on your desktop and session configuration.
I’ve already tested Ulauncher, but Wayland compatibility was one of the problems I ran into.
