My Computer is Completely Bricked: Need Help!

I'm in a real mess here. My computer is totally bricked. I can't boot into the OS, and even my USB recovery media is failing. All my restore points are wiped, and safe mode won't start anymore. I'm trying to run DISM offline, but I keep getting error 2 or 3 with any command I try. This all started because of a failed iCUE update. I'm at my wits' end and might have to manually copy files using CMD or even overwrite everything. My thesis is due at the end of the month, and I'm exhausted and frustrated—I've tried everything.

It sounds rough! Have you thought about doing a secure wipe of your drive and starting fresh with a clean Windows install? If you need to recover your files first, you could boot from a live USB with Ubuntu. That way, you can access your files and back them up before wiping the drive.

Yeah, sounds like your attempts to fix this might have made things worse. Honestly, at this point, it’s probably best to take out your internal storage, connect it to another computer, and recover your data from there. After that, just wipe the drive clean and do a fresh Windows install. Then you can reinstall your drivers and OEM software later.

Yeah…figured as much.

This is similar to what I’d suggest! Given your deadline, if you can swing it, maybe just grab a low-cost laptop locally to get through your thesis and sort your main computer later.
