Opera's built-in ad blocker appears to be malfunctioning in builds 135.0.5973.93 and 135.0.5973.133. With it enabled, websites lose their images, CSS, and JavaScript, so pages only render correctly after disabling the blocker. Is there a practical workaround, or should I switch browsers temporarily?

For a work or sysadmin environment, switching to a more widely supported browser may be the least painful option. Edge is often the practical choice because of organizational policies and account syncing, even if it isn’t everyone’s favorite.
Firefox is worth reconsidering if you want an alternative to Chromium-based browsers. It avoids Opera’s current rendering problem and gives you more control over extensions and privacy, while Edge remains the safer choice when compatibility with workplace policies and syncing matters.
That’s probably the sensible choice for managed systems. I may try Firefox again for personal use, though—I’d rather not spend the day fighting Chrome’s memory usage.
