My PC has randomly powered off twice while I was playing Raft today. I checked the temperatures, and they don't seem excessive: the Ryzen 7 7800X3D sits around 50–60°C on the desktop and reaches about 75°C in-game. The system has an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and a 750W power supply. The shutdowns happened after roughly 15 minutes, but another more demanding game ran for over 30 minutes without crashing. What should I check to determine whether this is a game issue, power problem, or something else?

A 750W supply is usually enough for a 7800X3D and 4070 Ti SUPER, but its quality, age, and cable connections still matter. Make sure the GPU power connector is fully seated and that the card is using the correct dedicated cables. Check whether Windows reports a Kernel-Power event, but remember that this usually records the unexpected shutdown rather than identifying its cause.
Since the temperatures look reasonable and a graphically heavier game stayed stable, this may be specific to Raft or one of its files, drivers, or overlays. Verify or repair the game installation, update the graphics and chipset drivers, and temporarily disable overlays such as Discord, GeForce Experience, or motherboard audio utilities. If the whole PC still cuts power, test with another power supply if possible rather than assuming the game is the only cause.
Check Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer around the exact time of the shutdown. Also look for Raft’s log files and see whether they contain an error before the system powers off. If the computer loses power instantly with no blue screen, the power supply, cabling, motherboard protection, or a driver issue are more likely than normal CPU temperature. Testing several other games and checking whether the issue happens only in Raft will help narrow it down.
Reliability Monitor mentions that the Nahimic service stopped working. Raft does create log files, so I’ll check those as well. Another game ran for more than 30 minutes without shutting down, which makes Raft seem suspicious.
