I'm building a PC with a Ryzen 7 5700X and a B550M Wi-Fi motherboard. My budget only allows for one graphics card, and I'm deciding between an RTX 5060 and an RX 9060 XT with 8GB of VRAM. Which option would you recommend for gaming and longer-term value?

It may be worth saving an extra $40–$50 for the 16GB version of the RX 9060 XT. The additional VRAM should make it a better choice for newer games and future-proof the build more than either 8GB card.
If you’re choosing strictly between these two 8GB models, I’d lean toward the RTX 5060. Nvidia’s software support and features such as DLSS give it an advantage, especially in games that support them.
I was hoping to stay within the current budget, but that makes sense if the extra VRAM will help the card last longer.
