I installed a new MSI MAG A850GL power supply and Gigabyte RTX 5070 Windforce graphics card. The PC powers on, and the GPU fans spin and settle at idle speed, but I get no video signal through HDMI. Before installing the card, I removed the previous graphics drivers and manually changed the PCIe setting in the BIOS from Auto to Gen 4. I'm unsure whether the motherboard is detecting the card or what I should try next.

Try changing the PCIe setting back from Gen 4 to Auto, then check in the BIOS whether the graphics card is detected. Also make sure the monitor cable is connected directly to the graphics card rather than the motherboard.

I can’t access the BIOS because there’s no display output. I also tried connecting the HDMI cable to the motherboard, but that didn’t produce an image either.
