I'm planning a future GPU upgrade and would like some advice. My current system has a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, B650 AORUS ELITE AX motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, and an 850W EVGA 80+ Bronze power supply. The RTX 5070 Ti is outside my budget in my country, where it costs at least $1,300 USD. The RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 are more accessible at roughly $800–$900. I use two monitors, one at 240Hz and another at 100Hz, and I'm also planning to move to an OLED 1440p display. My games include competitive shooters such as CS2 and Valorant, MMOs like Lost Ark and Aion 2, and visually demanding single-player games such as Assassin's Creed, Marvel titles, and God of War. I also do some editing related to 3D printing. Between the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070, which would be the better choice for this setup?

For a gaming-focused system, I’d lean toward the RTX 5070. It has considerably more performance headroom for 1440p, especially for newer story-driven games, while also being a better match for a high-refresh OLED monitor. The 5060 Ti can handle 1440p, but you’ll likely need to reduce settings sooner and rely more heavily on upscaling. It’s worth checking the actual local prices, though—if the 5070 is close to the 5060 Ti in cost, it’s the stronger pick.
Your 7800X3D and 850W capacity are more than adequate for this class of GPU. The power supply does not automatically need replacing just because it is Bronze-rated, but replacing it with a newer, high-quality 850W 80+ Gold PCIe 5 model would be a sensible reliability upgrade if the unit is old or you want modern connectors. Before committing to either card, I’d compare the price of the Radeon RX 9070 XT in your region. Nvidia could still make more sense if you specifically need CUDA, certain ray-tracing features, or better compatibility with your creative applications.
The system is mainly for gaming, although I also use it for editing connected to 3D printing. Competitive games are a big part of it, but I also play MMOs and single-player titles.
