I'm choosing between an RX 6700 XT for €280 and an RTX 3060 Ti for €220. The 6700 XT is generally a little faster and has 12GB of VRAM, while the 3060 Ti is significantly cheaper and offers DLSS. For 1080p or 1440p gaming, is the extra €60 for the 6700 XT worth paying, or would the 3060 Ti be the better value?

The RX 6700 XT is the stronger long-term choice. It’s a bit faster and its 12GB of VRAM gives it more breathing room at 1440p and in newer games. The extra €60 seems reasonable if you plan to keep the card for several years.
At only €220, I’d lean toward the RTX 3060 Ti. In many games the two cards are close, and saving €60 is meaningful. DLSS is also generally better than older versions of FSR, especially if you use upscaling often.
They’re fairly close overall, so there isn’t a universally wrong choice. Pick the 3060 Ti if you value the lower price and DLSS; choose the 6700 XT if you want more raw performance and VRAM. At €60 extra, I’d personally take the 6700 XT unless you need to keep the budget tight.
For 1080p, the 3060 Ti is probably the better bargain at €220. For 1440p or a longer upgrade cycle, the 6700 XT’s 12GB is more reassuring. Also check the specific models, condition, power supply requirements, and warranty before deciding.
The 8GB limitation isn’t a problem in every game yet, but some newer titles can already push past it depending on texture settings and resolution. I’d rather have the extra VRAM if the price difference is acceptable.
