I'm planning a white gaming PC built around a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I'm deciding between an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. I'll mainly be gaming, and I've noticed there are many different versions of each card. Which GPU offers the better value, and which specific models would work well in a white build? I'm also planning to use 32GB of RAM.

You don’t need to overthink the brand. Look at models from Sapphire, XFX, PowerColor, ASRock, or ASUS, then choose one of the reasonably priced cards that fits your case and matches your preferred white aesthetic. The least expensive reputable model is usually the best value; paying extra only makes sense for a noticeably better cooler, lower noise, or a design you really want.
The XFX Swift and ASRock Challenger are both sensible options if they’re priced well. If appearance is important, the white ASUS Prime model is also worth considering because it has a very light-colored design. Check the card’s length, thickness, power connectors, and case clearance before buying, since different versions can vary quite a bit.
I’ve been running a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an RX 9070 XT and have been very happy with the combination in games. Unless you specifically need CUDA, I’d put the money saved by choosing the 9070 XT toward a better monitor, storage, or other parts of the build instead.
For gaming, the RX 9070 XT is generally the better choice here, especially if the RTX 5070 Ti costs significantly more in your area. The 7800X3D pairs very well with it, and 32GB of RAM is plenty for a gaming build. NVIDIA’s main advantage would be features and workloads that rely on CUDA, such as certain professional video-editing or compute applications.
