I've been offered a trade for my current RTX 5070 Zotac AMP White. I would receive a Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super Eagle OC plus a Ryzen 7 5700X3D.
My previous Ryzen 7 5800X failed, so I'm currently using an ASUS B550-A motherboard with 4x8GB DDR4-3200 memory while I look for a replacement CPU. The rest of the system includes an 850W power supply and a 1440p 180Hz monitor.
I mainly play games such as Valorant, Helldivers 2, and Where Winds Meet, while also streaming through OBS and doing some DaVinci Resolve editing. I'm trying to figure out how much performance I would actually lose by moving from the RTX 5070 to the RTX 4070 Super, and whether getting the 5700X3D makes that trade worthwhile compared with keeping the 5070 and buying a CPU separately.
Would you accept the trade, assuming both the graphics card and processor are fully functional?

The trade looks excellent on paper, but verify everything before handing over your card. Test the 4070 Super under load, check temperatures and stability, confirm the 5700X3D is recognized correctly, and inspect the hardware for damage. At 1440p, the 4070 Super should still handle your games well, and the performance gap from the 5070 is likely modest.
