Hey everyone! I'm wanting to build my first PC and I'm kind of lost on where to start. I'm aiming for a budget between $1400 and $1500. It would be great to find a complete build or at least some solid suggestions. I'm hoping to run games like Baldur's Gate 3, Minecraft with mods, and League of Legends with good visuals, preferably in white color scheme. I plan to save up a bit more for a monitor later, so I might compromise a little on that for now. Also, I'm about an hour away from a Micro Center, which I hear has some good deals. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

You're lucky to have a Micro Center nearby! You can save about $100-$150 with their CPU and motherboard bundles, definitely worth the trip. They pretty much have everything you need, plus experienced staff if you need advice!
Here's a rough outline for a build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fwX8cx. It's flexible, so feel free to tweak it! Definitely check monitor reviews as well for the best choice. Keep an eye on deals at Micro Center because they often have valuable bundles!
This is super helpful! Thanks for the link, I’ll dive into comparisons now.
If you're not up to date with the latest hardware, Micro Center has great deals on CPU/Motherboard/RAM combos, and can really help with your total costs!
Thanks! I’ll keep an eye out for those combos, sounds like a smart move!
I got you! Check out this build: [Microcenter Bundle](https://www.microcenter.com/product/5007069/amd-ryzen-5-7600x3d,-asus-b650-e-tuf-gaming-wifi-am5,-gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-kit,-computer-build-bundle). It's around $1491.82, and includes a solid AMD Ryzen CPU and 32 GB of RAM. If you're into Nvidia, there's another option too with a GeForce RTX 5070 for about $1441.82. Plus, you can't go wrong with Micro Center for combo deals that might save you some bucks!
Thanks a ton! This looks like a great starting point. I’ll chat with my tech-savvy friend about it!
Are we twins? I’m under the same budget and looking to play the same games! I just asked a friend and he suggested this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Canadian_Born/saved/7rbBTW. I’m also considering a pre-built option to dodge the hassle of assembly.
If building sounds overwhelming, a local shop doing the assembly for around $200 could save your stress but keep the quality you want.
Yeah, everyone raves about Micro Center. I might just have to make the trip and check it out!
