My RX 6700 XT works normally for a while, then the display suddenly cuts out, the monitor reports "No Signal," and the graphics card fans ramp up to maximum speed. The card was purchased used, so I'm trying to determine whether this is a driver or Windows issue, overheating, or a hardware fault. Has anyone dealt with the same symptoms, and what should I test first?

First determine whether the crash depends on graphics load. Try booting from a live USB environment, such as a Linux trial session or a Windows-based diagnostic disk, and see whether the card still loses signal. If it remains stable there, perform a genuinely clean Windows installation after backing up your data. That helps rule out drivers and other software problems.
Since this is a used card, especially one bought through an overseas marketplace, I’d be suspicious of the card itself. The thermal paste or thermal pads may have degraded, or the card could have an underlying fault. If it has already shown the same behavior in multiple computers, replacement or a refund would be preferable to spending much more time troubleshooting it.
