I have about $100 in Apple Gift Cards that accumulated over the years, but I rarely use Apple devices or services anymore. I have an iPad and previously spent gift card funds on in-app purchases, but I no longer play many iOS games. I'm not interested in iCloud, AppleCare, subscriptions, or buying Apple hardware, and I tried using the balance for Steam and Amazon purchases without success. Would the balance work for things like Webtoon Coins or Roblox currency, or are there any other useful options besides Apple-related purchases?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a general-purpose way to convert the balance into cash or use it like a debit card. Gift cards are normally restricted to the company that issued them. If you don’t expect to use the funds, you could give the card to a friend or family member and have them reimburse you, assuming you trust each other.
Apple Gift Card funds are tied to Apple’s ecosystem, so they generally can’t be used directly on Amazon, Steam, or other unrelated retailers. You may be able to spend the balance on App Store apps and in-app purchases, Apple subscriptions, music, movies, books, or eligible accessories and hardware sold by Apple. Webtoon Coins or Roblox currency would only work if purchased through their iOS apps using Apple’s in-app payment system.
You could also sell the gift card for slightly less than its value, such as around $95 for a $100 balance, but be careful with scams and avoid sharing the code until payment is confirmed. Otherwise, leaving the balance unused or applying it toward an Apple accessory is probably the safest option.
