I built this PC a few years ago and want to upgrade the graphics card, with a monitor upgrade being a possibility if the budget allows. I'm trying to keep the total cost reasonable, ideally under €600. My current system has an Intel Core i7-14700K, GeForce RTX 3060, ASUS Prime Z790-A WIFI motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, a 1TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe SSD, a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 cooler, an 850W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M power supply, and a be quiet! Pure Base 500DX case. What GPU would provide a worthwhile performance increase, and should I consider changing the monitor too?

A Radeon RX 9070 non-XT could be worth considering if you find one within budget, but current pricing can vary a lot and may push it beyond €600. Don’t assume a more expensive card is automatically the better choice—compare local prices and performance before buying.
Set the exact GPU budget first, then choose the fastest card that fits it. A newer 16GB card such as the RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT would be a sensible target at this price level. A monitor upgrade is only worth prioritizing if your current display is limiting you; otherwise, put the money toward the graphics card.
The RTX 3060 is clearly the part holding this system back, so I’d prioritize the GPU. With a maximum budget of €600, look for the best-priced RTX 5060 Ti 16GB or RX 9060 XT 16GB you can find. Either should offer a noticeable improvement, and your 850W power supply is more than sufficient.
