I'm looking for the best possible graphics card upgrade for demanding VR games and applications. My RTX 2060 Super still performs extremely well at 1080p, but it is starting to struggle in titles such as No Man's Sky VR. I built the system with a future GPU upgrade in mind and would like a final upgrade that offers a clearly noticeable improvement without being a poor match for the rest of the build.

There isn't a strict budget cap—I'm mainly interested in the strongest sensible option for this system. I'm especially focused on VR performance rather than simply improving ordinary 1080p gaming.

The right choice depends heavily on what you’re willing to spend. Since you don’t have a fixed budget, you can look at the highest-end card that makes sense for the Ryzen 5 7600, but you should also verify that the 600W power supply has enough capacity and the required connectors for the card you choose.
For a substantial step up from the 2060 Super, a Radeon 9070 GRE was suggested as a strong pairing with the Ryzen 5 7600. It should provide a much more noticeable improvement in demanding games and VR than moving to another modest 1080p-focused card.
I’m already happy with the 2060 Super’s regular 1080p performance. My main goal is a clearly tangible upgrade for demanding VR titles, so I’m less concerned about replacing it with another card that mainly improves standard 1080p gaming.
