I'm looking for the best possible graphics card upgrade for demanding VR games and applications. My RTX 2060 Super still performs great at 1080p, but it has started to struggle in titles such as No Man's Sky VR. I built the system with a future GPU upgrade in mind and would like a final upgrade that works well with the rest of the hardware. My current specifications are:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
Motherboard: B650M Pro WiFi
Memory: 32GB Crucial Pro DDR5
Power supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600W
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super
Storage: 1TB Crucial P3 SSD and 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
There isn't a strict budget cap—I'm mainly interested in the fastest card that makes sense for this system and would provide a noticeable improvement in VR.

The right choice depends mostly on your budget, since several modern GPUs would be compatible with the Ryzen 5 7600. For a high-end upgrade, also make sure to account for the power supply, since a 600W unit may limit which cards are practical without replacing it.
A Radeon RX 9070 GRE would be a strong option if you want another card that handles 1080p easily while giving you a substantial boost in more demanding VR workloads. It’s roughly the upper end of what makes sense to pair with a Ryzen 5 7600, although you should verify the card’s power requirements against your 600W PSU.
I’m already happy with how the 2060 Super handles ordinary 1080p gaming. I’m mainly looking for a clear performance increase in demanding VR games rather than just another card that excels at standard 1080p.
